KISS will headline the 2nd night of the Kollen Summer Festival in Oslo, Norway on Saturday, June 30th, 2012. The concert will take place at the Holmenkollen National Arena - the roof of Oslo - made world famous by its iconic ski jump that can be seen from all over the capital. This new two day festival will feature 26 artists on three stages!

Sadly Dick Clark has died from a heart attack at the age of 82. Dick is well known for the Rockin' New Years Eve shows on which KISS have performed several times in the past. They also made one of their very first TV appearances on his show in the early 70's.

RIP Dick.

Len Goodman & Bruno Tonioli are in for a treat this week as KISS are performing on Dancing With The Stars, not once but two days in a row! On Monday 9th April they will be performing Rock & Roll All Nite accompanied by the troupe, and on Tuesday 10th they are back singing Lick It Up. Not sure of UK dates yet, however it isn't looking good as it appears no channel has picked it up this year.

United kingdom Kiss fan Julian Kerridge has directed his first feature film and now wants fellow kiss fans to help him get word of mouth going about this film. He is hoping that all Kiss fans will go and press the LIKE button for his Julian Kerridge’s new movie SEAMONSTERS! at www.facebook/seamonstersfilm

Julian is a massive kiss fan and was on the Kiss Kruise this year filming stuff for the band, his film can now be watched on www.prescreen.com.

Whilst it hasn't been officially confirmed yet it is looking very likely that Sonisphere is cancelled this year, Queen have already confirmed this on their website and BBC are also running a story. This is of course terrible news for fellow KISS fans, but I guess it's just a case of wait & see with regards to any other UK dates, although with a US tour coming up that isn't looking likely. The BBC site has the following:

"Sonisphere festival has been cancelled
Queen confirm Sonisphere festival UK 2012 has been cancelled Rock festival Sonisphere has been cancelled according to the official Queen website.
The event was due to take place at Knebworth Park, Stevenage on 6-8 July.
Queenonline.com issued a statement which read: "It is with very heavy hearts and much regret that we announce the cancellation of Sonisphere Knebworth 2012".
Organisers are yet to confirm the news officially, but hope to have a statement tomorrow. "

KISS were on Jimmy Kimmel last night with their new outfits, they performed Detroit Rock City & Dr Love on the show with Cold Gin & Shout It Out Loud also played on the soundcheck. There's a You Tube video of Dr Love & DRC below, check out the new costumes, very cool!

The Las Vegas Sun has announced a few pieces of KISS news this week, including confirmation of the US KISS/Motley Crue tour this summer (due to be officially announced this week). Other details are as follows:-

• On April 1, in full makeup, they will be back in Las Vegas arriving on the red carpet in a Monster truck to present Best Vocal Group at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
• On April 2, they’ll perform in New Orleans at the NCAA Final Four game.
• On April 9, they’ll perform two songs on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC. (Don’t think Las Vegas resident Gladys Knight will samba to the songs.)
• In one month, they start filming a KISS movie with Mark Johnson of the “Narnia” films producing.
• In May, Season 9 of Gene’s “Family Jewels” begins and a 10th renewal looks definite for filming this fall for 2013.
• Their nearly three-month dual headline tour with Motley Crue starts July 19 and includes a stop here, as we reported in a Vegas DeLuxe interview with Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil.
• This fall, they’ll host yet another of their weeklong KISS-abean cruises in the Bahamas over Halloween with thousands of fans already booked.
