The latest WIZARD #186 (The Magazine of Comics, Entertainment and Pop Culture) has a
full 4 pages with Gene Simmons who discusses his comic book upbringing and his usual
talk as well...You know Gene...
 
The magazine has been released with 4 different covers making the KISS Variant one of 
the hardest to find as it was only available from the Wizard World Convention in Los
Angeles 2007...The Exclusive, Limited Edition will be hard to find...
 
Attached are 1 of the covers with Gene Simmons and the other 2  covers are described as such...Venom gets his close-up courtesy of artist Mike Mayhew on Cover #1... With 'Spidey 3' takes on 'Pirates of the Caribbean 3' and 'Shrek 3' on Cover #2..

As some of you know I was off work for a month due to an operation recently. Well, check out this 'Get well soon' message that I got through the post, cool or what! It came courtesy of Dan Bach so huge thanks to him.

It’s Rich Sawyer, I wanted to personally THANK each and every one who took time to wish me well after I had my accident last year

As you may or may not know this left me with a broken back.

Thankfully, I’m on the road to recovery now and I hope to be back behind those drums again, sooner rather than later!

I want to thank the guys in’ Dressed to Kill’ for their support & to let them know ‘I miss you’..

Thank Danny my old partner in crime for all his hard work and efforts

Finally to my wife & family for always believing and for never giving in!

Apr 8, 2007 NEW YORK (Billboard) - Former Kiss guitarist Mark St. John died Thursday from an apparent brain hemorrhage. He was 51.

Born Mark Norton in Hollywood, St. John was Kiss' third official guitarist, having replaced Vinnie Vincent - the substitute for Ace Frehley - in 1984.

From KNAC.com:-
"Just got a call this afternoon stating that my friend, former Kiss guitarist Mark St. John, died this morning from a cerebral hemorrage. He was 51."

This is very sad news indeed, those of you who went to the expo in 2003 will know just how nice a guy he was. He even went out of his way to let me do an interview with him, after asking if we could go grab a pizza first! Believe it or not Mark is one of the ex-members of KISS that I recieve most mail about, partly because he kept himself to himself and his past friends found it difficult to track him down.

All of us at KISSin' UK send our deepest condolences to Mark's family.
